The Beginner's Lounge
Welcome to The Beginner's Lounge. I aim to make this page one of the main features of my site. These pages are limited up to now, but will be developed further over the coming weeks. Please bear with me as this occurs.

The Players
KoL isn't just any internet game, it is one that has a following of over 30,000 gamers. Many of these gamers are loyal followers of KoL, and they can be seen everyday in one of the many chat rooms. The players are generally very helpful and are willing to give advice and help on many of the topics in the game.

The Game
The Kingdom of Loathing (or KoL, as it has come to be known by its players) is a free, RPG, brought to you by Asymmetric Publications. It is not immediately noticeable, but KoL is currently in development with little bits being added all of the time. More features are added to the game several times weekly which can add to the game play as it gives us new things to do. Don't get me wrong, there are limitless possibilities in KoL and its many followers find hours of entertainment from the game daily.

KoL has a very user-friendly interface. The images are all impressively drawn, and displayed in black and white. The game is turn-based, which means that there is a limit to your adventures daily. The limits are there to avoid people getting ahead by playing for longer. The adventures are limited, but the game play is not! There are many other things to do once you have used your adventures, such as manipulating the marketplace, building relationships in chat, gambling at the casino. You could even try running your own clan and get others to join!

To The Campground
Your campground is your command centre. From here, you can control your outgoing attacks, your defence from incoming attacks, trophies, familiars. Anyway keep scrolling, I will show you my campground.

You start off with very few of these in your campsite at the start. You get more by completing quests and purchasing items from the flee market or the mall. I wont spoil this anymore by saying how to get these. Just get out there and search!!
