 Home - Ascension Spoilers - A New Area - Degrassi Knoll

So you chose a muscular sign. Excellent choice. Choosing this area means that you can no longer adventure at Degrassi Knoll. Instead you go beneath it. You can still get the items that you need from the Knoll, but you have to pay for them. This is much easier and the items are very cheap anyway.

  • Innabox - Will smith items for you for free. He can smith many advanced items, but not any using asbestos, chrome or linoleum ores. Also he cannot smith items with hippopotamus, yak or penguin skins.

    He will also give you the screwdriver the untinker wants back.
     
  • Mushroom Fields - Allows you to buy a plot of land for 5000 meat to grow mushrooms on. See quests below.

Quests

There are 3 quests that are set by Mayor Zapruder, however you must grow some mushrooms to do the last two tasks. I will tell you how to grow mushrooms before the quests.

Growing mushrooms is very simple after you have got started. To grow a mushroom, you will need to select a location and purchase a spore for that location. You can buy knob, knoll and spooky spores. Your spores take just one day before they become mushrooms. If you leave them another day, new spores will appear in locations which are adjacent to two different types of mushroom. This is explained a little better with the following chart:

  • Cool Mushroom: Knob + Knoll
  • Warm Mushroom: Knob + spooky
  • Pointy Mushroom: Knoll + spooky
  • Frozen Mushroom: cool + pointy
  • Stinky Mushroom: cool + warm
  • Flaming Mushroom: warm + pointy
     

Now that the mushrooms have been explained, We should now attempt Mayor Zapruder's quests:

  • Quest 1: You are told to investigate the Bugbear Pens in the Spooky Forest to find the source of the disturbance there. To complete the quest, you must find an annoying pitchfork. You can get this by defeating an annoying spooky gravy fairy.
  • Quest 2: You must grow a stinky mushroom for the mayor. You can do this in six days if you follow the instructions above. The mayor will then make it into a spooky gravy fairy familiar, which you'll need for the last quest.
  • Quest 3: Adventure into the Spooky Gravy Barrow, using your spooky gravy fairy. You must find an inexplicably glowing stone, spooky fairy gravy, and a small leather glove. Cooking the glove and the gravy allows you to reach the fight with Queen Felonia. Upon her defeat you get a Spooky Cosmetics Bag and a Spooky Bicycle Chain. The Mayor will also reward you with six mushroom fermenting solutions.
